Mathsframe has more than 200 interactive maths games. 

All resources are designed, by an experienced KS2 teacher 

to help children to visualise numbers, patterns and numerical 

relationships and to develop their mathematical thinking.

Hooda Math

This is really awesome!

Hooda Math is a website that has a number of different 

mathematics games that you can play with your students.

You can select the type of game and based on the topic

you select the grade that you are looking for.

I played the Snow Sprint Multiplying Fractions and 

it was really good.  If you have a class you can play 

against other students in the class and make a 

competition out of it or you can play against the computer.

Brilliant!!

This is a great way to practice the basic operations of mathematics.

You can choose the level which is appropriate for your age.

You cannot unfortunately choose the range of numbers, but it

is definitely worthwhile.

It is a little different to just multiplying or adding, etc.

You can choose how many dice you would like to throw.

You then have to add the dice and then add, subtract, multiply or divide.

It is not as easy as it looks...

I have been using Maths Blaster in my class for years.  There is now a free 

online version of this!  The message to Math Blaster’s is clear:  “Your 

success depends on your ability to use your brain and logic skills.”  

With a space/alien theme, Math Blaster’s lets your students become 

intergalactic heros based on their math operation and critical thinking skills.  

Registration is required, but the game itself is free.  Be sure to check out the

This is a really cool site about math probability.

There are different levels, starting with a very easy level and then it becomes 

more and more difficult.

This is ideal for both foundation phase as well as senior phase.

just change the level of the game.

The Playground of Mathematics

The Playground of Mathematics

This is a really cool site for Foundation and Senior Primary learners.

It does the four basics, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills

 in their choice of thirteen languages. Students can use the site without registering. 

The Playground of Mathematics keeps track of the problems that students have 

answered correctly during their visits to the site.  You can also change the settings and
change the range of the numbers.

Very cool!!

Math Shorts is the latest addition to Planet Nutshell's line-up of  animated 

educational videos. 

There is currently 4 videos about maths, but they are hoping to end up with 20.

Each of the videos has a Common Core standard aligned to it. All of the videos 

have supporting materials from PBS Learning Media attached to them. 

The explanations are very clear and concise.

Mathematics. The site presents viewers with a series of math problems 

designed to spark discussion and collaboration between parents and their 

children. The problems are based around objects and situations with which 

most students will be familiar. This is also great as extension work for some

of your learners!!
