Perseverance captured its first high-resolution panorama of its surroundings during 

its third day on Mars. Zoom in to see some of the areas mission scientists are keen to explore.

First-of-its-kind footage taken from multiple cameras on the rover, parachute and 

spacecraft lets you experience this Mars landing as if you were riding alongside the 

Perseverance rover.

I know I have blogged on this before, but that was ages ago and I have
rediscovered how great this is, with all new versions.

Of course you can do the hour of code in this, but the site has expanded so much.
There are so many brilliant things that you can do.

There is a learning path for Junior, Middle and High Schools.

There are complete teacher solutions with lesson plans, differentiated leaning,
student assessment and even professional learning spaces.

I am so impressed with this and I cannot believe that this is all FREE!

I am very impressed with the various options  of Microsoft.

I was part of a online forum last week and I was mentioning how good the
free version of A1 is.  When you look at the differences, there is not much less
than you are getting for the paid version.  You are able to run a complete
education institution or school with the free version.

One of the problems with Teams is that you cannot see your entire class
at the same time.  There are now 2 different functions that you can use to change that.

Personally I like the large gallery view which allows up to 49 video feeds at the same time.
To use this feature however, you need at least 10 people sharing their video.

Call duration, maximum participants, channel size and more

Microsoft now allows all paid users to have up to 300 members 

(previously 250) on a video call. This has been recently increased 

from its initial 100 member limit, to help better compete with the 

likes of Zoom and Google Meet. Free users can only host video calls 

with up to 20 members.

There is a new Microsoft Teams update that is being rolled out in 

February on the desktop client that I am really looking forward to.

We will now be able to use a history menu that displays a person's

recently visited locations.  You can hover over the back and forward

button and this will give you access to previous locations easier.

If you press Ctrl + Shift + H it will open the new history menu.

I use forms all the time and I love the fact that you can do quizes
that mark themselves.  I can use this at the beginning of a topic to see how 
much prior knowledge they have or at the end of a module to see what gaps
the students are missing.  What I also like about this is that it keeps an 
Excel document so it becomes easy to see the progress the students have made
over the course of a module.
