This is really brilliant for Foundation Phase!
It covers associations, items to place on a map or a schema,
counting activities, puzzles, card faces to remember and mouse manipulation.
I thought the games and activities are perfect for young learners and 
it is completely FREE!!

It is a huge file to download for Windows 32 bit (140 MB) but it is really worthwhile!

Just finished uploading all the English Rainbow Books from the Education Department
to my drive.  These are really fantastic books that you can use in your classes.
All the mathematics books can be found from Grade R to Grade 6.
The entire years books are here, Term 1 to Term 4.

Please note that these files are huge, typically between 10 - 20 MB each.

Sumopaint


Sumo Paint is an amazing web-based tool and downloadable program as well. 
It is a bit like PhotoShop but free - and web based. It is great for photo creation 
or manipulation.  A great tool for students and teachers who don't have access to 
or money for PhotoShop or other heavy-duty image manipulation software. 
Very good!!

This is a great online painting program that allows you to draw.
Although very simple, you can choose different colours, different brush sizes, 
a paint bucket and text.
Lots of fun to use!!
Once completed, you can send the image to yourself via e-mail or
do a screen capture.

This is a great Interactive piece of software that allows you
to play with the 3 different primary colours to make any colour.
Very easy to use and the learners love using this!!

There are 2 different modes, easy and hard.
The easy mode has all the words in English, while the hard mode 
has the words in scientific and Latin names.
There is also a quiz at the end, so you can see how many of the parts you know.
