Microsoft SongSmith

Microsoft Research Songsmith is a musical accompaniment

application for Microsoft Windows. Songsmith immediately

generates a musical accompaniment after a voice is recorded.

The user can adjust tempo, genre (such as pop, R&B,

hip-hop, rock, jazz, or reggae), and overall mood

(e.g. to make it happy, sad, jazzy, etc.)

Shape Collage

Shape Collage is a free automatic photo collage maker that lets you

create picture collages in any shape in less than a minute with just a

few mouse clicks. Shape Collage creates collages using an

intelligent machine learning algorithm that automatically places the

photos in the collage and can arrange the photos to form different shapes.

The free version has a small watermark on it.

Very cool!!

Sumopaint

Sumo Paint is an amazing web-based tool and downloadable program as well.

It is a bit like PhotoShop but free - and web based. It is great for photo creation

or manipulation. A great tool for students and teachers who don't have access to

or money for PhotoShop or other heavy-duty image manipulation software.

Very good!!

own local music video all about Cape Town and being Happy.

Alphabet Organizer

Alphabet Organizer is a great little tool from Read Write Think that students

can use to create alphabet charts and books. The idea behind Alphabet

Organizer is to help students make visual connections between letters of the

alphabet and the first letter of common words. This is accomplished by having

students choose a letter of the alphabet, write a word that begins with that letter,

then upload a picture that is representative of that word.

Alphabet Organizer allows students to create charts or simple booklets from the

words and pictures they've uploaded. Completed works can be saved as PDFs,

printed, or emailed to teachers.

You definitely need to check this out.

It is totally awesome

You can create a very quick online movie.

There is no registration required, just start making the movie.

You can choose your backgrounds, people, what sort of scenes you would like,

as well as music and you can add scenes.

Totally perfect for Foundation Phase and Senior Primary!!

Animoto

Animoto is a FREE web tool that allows users to create

30 second videos that incorporate:

images

short video clips

text

music

Users may provide all content or utilize images, videos,

and music provided on the website. Completed videos

may be viewed online or downloaded and viewed offline.

Animoto for Education

Teachers may apply for a Free PLUS account that allows

users to create videos up to 20 minutes in length. With an

education account, teachers can monitor student work and

limit access to the videos produced. After registering,

teachers receive a code to share with up to 50 students.

It took me about 30 minutes.The access code will expire

after 6 months and you will need to request a new code

within 30 days of expiration. The PLUS account is usually

$60 per year for each non-education user.

BRILLIANT!!!!!

It gives them a choice of characters, settings etc that they can put together in an

infinite number of ways to make individual books.and it even helps with the sentences.

will find video about things like white balance, webcam settings,
