Sumo Paint is an amazing web-based tool and downloadable program as well. 
It is a bit like PhotoShop but free - and web based. It is great for photo creation 
or manipulation.  A great tool for students and teachers who don't have access to 
or money for PhotoShop or other heavy-duty image manipulation software. 
Very good!!

This is a great online painting program that allows you to draw.
Although very simple, you can choose different colours, different brush sizes, 
a paint bucket and text.
Lots of fun to use!!
Once completed, you can send the image to yourself via e-mail or
do a screen capture.

ThingLink is a free tool for creating interactive images. To create an interactive 
image upload an image from your computer to your ThingLink account. 
After uploading the image you can add pins to the image. 
Each pin that you add to your image can include a video clip, a link to another 
site, a block of text, or another image. You can make your images collaborative 
by allowing others to add pins to the image. Images can be embedded into 
blog posts for students to view and or add their own pins. 
Very nice and easy to use!

Thinglink is a free website that allows you to upload images and then 
make them interactive.  Comments can be added, video links can be 
added, and this can be either collaboratively or purely for viewing sake.
The images can then be embedded on your class website.

It features a very comprehensible user interface that makes it easy to
edit nodes, perform complex path operations, trace bitmaps, etc.
This free software includes many of the features found in CorelDraw and Illustrator.

If you are like me and it takes you a little while to take 20 pictures and then round the corners ...
This is an online tool for making anti-aliased rounded corners.  This is very easy to use and takes about 2 minutes from start to finish.  I also like the fact that you can have transparent rounds at the corners so that you can overlay on any colour!!
