about where math fits into their day-to-day lives.

about the Internet. Some of the really good things include:

IP addresses, dynamic and static IP's, how does information

move from place t place and average connection speeds, etc.

How teens are using Social Media

This is a great infographic that shows how learners are using

social media. There are some very interesting things that have

come out of this research. One of the things that I found surprising

was the percentage of learners on Facebook and their comments

about Facebook.

How Internet Makes Kids Smarter

Internet in particular engages learner's brains in more complex

tasks at a younger stage in their lives, toddlers are improving

cognition and critical review skills, and are displaying a more

advanced understanding of both virtual and real worlds.

In addition to stronger memory, comprehension, and abstract thought.

Geosense Geography

Playing Geosense is a fun way to use and improve your knowledge of

world geography. Players can play against the computer or challenge

another player. Geosense can be played anonymously or you can register

and have your scores recorded for you. There are four Geosense maps

(US, World, Europe, or advanced) that players can select from. Geosense

is also available as an iOS app.

more often than a standard internet search.

You can zoom-in on the image to objects as small as neutrinos and quarks or as large as planets,
constellations, and galaxies.
When you click on an object in The Scale of the Universe 2 a small window of
information about that object pops up.
